In South Africa there are so-called rondavels: rounded
shacks with a single room. These houses are built
with natural materials that are abundant in the region.
Traditionally, rondavels were used as temporary lodgings
during hunting times, just like igloos.

Nowadays, these houses are built and bought by people
interested in ecology, because they save space and energy.
