Coordine la discusión de experiencias dirigiendo el diálogo hacia el objetivo principal de la unidad:
preparar y dar una presentación oral sobre la diversidad lingüística.
• Es importante transmitir la idea de que la comprensión de las diversidades lingüísticas es esencial para
el desarrollo adecuado de la competencia intercultural. Es igualmente importante evaluar cada idioma
de manera imparcial, sin tomar en cuenta la importancia económica de los países en los que se habla, su
número de hablantes, si tiene textos escritos o no, y si se habla en México o en otros países.
• El ejemplo está incluido porque sus alumnos pueden carecer del rango de expresiones para hablar
sobre idiomas. Motívelos a dar lo mejor, incluso si sus respuestas no son largas. Sin embargo, debe tener
grandes expectativas. Por lo tanto, es importante tomarse un tiempo para dar su opinión y comentarios
que permitan a sus estudiantes alargar sus respuestas.
• Si es posible, tómense un tiempo para que compartan sus respuestas. Es importante que algunos de sus
estudiantes conozcan idiomas además de los que se esperan (es decir, alemán, francés, portugués, etc.), para
comentar sobre eso, ya que puede proporcionar un buen punto de enlace con las preguntas de esta actividad.
